The posts in this blog are for the course LIS 516 at the University of Alberta. As part of this course, students are required to post three extended book discussions on assigned books. These discussions consist of:
- a reading journal
- background information about the book
- a comparison of my reading of the book with a book review
In referencing all posted images and quotes, I have attempted to be consistent with APA 6th citation format. The images reproduced are referenced unless the photographs are ones I’ve taken myself. Unless otherwise specified all quotes in the No Girls Allowed posts are from:
